Hello I am Nick Savides.

Being able to collaborate well with others is a skill of its own, one that will significantly influence how enjoyable and successful our creative endeavors will be. It’s a skill that can make or break a film or a theatrical production (or almost anything really), and yet the art of collaboration is not often discussed in specific, practical terms.

The nsavides Podcast is here to correct that. Our mission is to talk to all kinds of creative types— filmmakers, innovators, dreamers, musicians, actors, writers, designers, entrepreneurs, and so on— to find out more about what they do and how we can amplify their efforts so that our future collaborations might be better collaborations.

On a more personal note, some of my most enjoyable creative moments have come when there was a sense of friendly camaraderie with others. On the other hand, some of the most miserable moments in my life have come when collaborative efforts fell apart. And so, I want to figure out how to have more of the life-affirming collaborations and less of the other sort. Hence this podcast.

I’m not sure how things will play out exactly, but I have feeling that it will be an interesting journey. Here’s hoping that along the way we’ll learn a few things, have some fun, and become more soulful in the process.

An adventure awaits. Will you join us?

I directed a short comedy about a blind date gone wrong that some people liked. Amusic video I directed was nominated for an award by Veer Magazine. Once upon a time, I made a computer animated short . And so on.

I aim for honesty whenever possible. Come play along?
